To create a vibrant, economically-viable Main Street we not only need a pedestrian-friendly environment, but we need pedestrians!

How do we increase foot traffic and begin to create a sense of place where people will enjoy themselves  and want to come back?

Our Main Street businesses will thrive, not only with on-street parking, but also with a steady stream of customers.  Events on Main Street will not only attract people from the surrounding neighborhoods, but will hopefully bring others from across the City.  

Souped-up Storytime on Main Street

With the help of Bradley University Theater majors, Souped-up Storytime used acting, imagination and multi-sensory props to explore familiar children’s books.  Space for the event was donated by Comprehensive Prosthetics and Orthotics at 741 W. Main.
